Privacy policy

Last updated: Oct 20, 2026 · Draft, to be reviewed before launch

is a free online course. Boss Your Bot (“we”) runs it. Contact: [email protected].

WHAT WE COLLECT

• When you unlock the course: your email, your first name if you give it, the fact that you agreed to receive emails (with the wording and time), and the country your request came from. We also keep your browser type to help stop abuse.
• Abuse prevention: a hashed (scrambled) version of your IP address, kept for up to 1 hour, to limit repeated signups.
• In your browser: your course progress, quiz scores and certificate name are saved in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to us. We set one cookie (byb_unlock) to remember that you unlocked the course.

HOW WE USE IT

To give you access to the course and to send you emails about the course, new lessons and tips. These emails may include clearly labeled sponsor messages. We do not sell your email address or share it with sponsors.

WHO PROCESSES IT

The site is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages, and Workers KV for signup storage). Cloudflare processes requests, including IP addresses, to serve and protect the site. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. Your signup is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV. To send our emails we will use Loops (loops.so, operated by Astrodon Corporation). When we start sending, your email, your first name (if you gave it) and the signup source will be shared with Loops for that purpose only. See loops.so/privacy.

UNSUBSCRIBE AND YOUR CHOICES

Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email [email protected] to unsubscribe, or to ask us to see or delete your data. To clear your course progress, clear this site's data in your browser.

RETENTION

We keep your signup while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it from our active list, and it is erased from backups within 30 days. We may keep your email on a do-not-email list only so we can keep honoring your unsubscribe.

CHILDREN

This course is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

CHANGES

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above.
